Can facial hair for men be removed by waxing? | |
Although waxing has quite long lasting results from all the hair removal procedures that can be used at home, it is also one of the most painful ones. Therefore, although waxing can be used for removing facial hair not only for women but also for men, it is not done very often. The reason is that as the facial skin is very sensitive waxing can destroy it too much which would mean that one the hair is removed there will be some kind of a rash or the skin will feel very painful and it takes some time before the feeling goes away. So although waxing will remove the hair from the face for a longer period than shaving than it might take the skin to recover from it until the hair is long enough to be waxed again, thus it is basically a closed circle and therefore it is more advised for men to use other types of hair removing opportunities for facial hair than waxing. Waxing can still be used in areas where the skin is not so sensitive also by men if they are interested.
So to conclude, basically facial hair can be removed by waxing also from men but it is not very advisable as the result might not be very appealing.
