What are the traditional methods for hair removal? | |
The most traditional method for hair removal is of course the old and well-known shaving that is used by both males and females. The fact that shaving is very suitable for both genders has made companies produce different razors for both of them. Although removing hair by shaving does not have a very long lasting effect, the advantage is that the results can be seen very quickly and the whole process is rather painless, of course if there are not cuts done while shaving.
A very widely spread hair removal method is waxing. There are different types of waxing that can be done either in different beauty salons or in the comfort of your own home. You can use hot wax or cold wax, either with strips where the wax is applied beforehand or applying the wax to the skin and then applying a paper strip on the skin on your own, in both cases you have to remove the strip with a one quick motion. Removing hair by waxing is rather painful as the hair is pulled out of the skin.
In addition to the previously mentioned traditional methods for hair removal, there are still depilation and removing hair with different mechanical devices.
